If you want real volume, ask your category manager to stack multiple promotions. Single promos rarely move the needle much.

You can check the breakdown page to see exactly what’s holding your money. Common culprits are pending refunds, service fees, and compliance charges.
USPS label:
Definitely starts when you request it. Don’t mark orders as shipped before the label actually generates — you can get flagged for false shipment.
Promotions:
For big platform events like Black Friday or seasonal sales, lock in your price and inventory 3–5 days early. You can also run your own store-level promos. I’ve had good luck with tiered discounts: 30% off first hour, 20% off the next two.
My account manager broke this down for me recently:
Withdrawal math:
Available balance = settled funds – restricted funds – commission – tariff deposit
It recalculates every day. If your restricted funds are higher than settled, the withdraw button just stays grayed out.
USPS label timer:
Starts the second you click “request label” in the backend, not when the order is created. Miss that 6-day window and the order cancels automatically, which hurts your cancellation rate.
Promotions:
Mix flash sales, new-user discounts, and bundle deals. Check what similar listings are doing so you’re not running promos at the exact same time. Weekday mornings and afternoons usually convert best.
