I’ve been selling on Amazon for a few years and spent the last year on Temu. Just got my Wayfair account set up recently, so I’m brand new here. Looking for any tips or advice from people who’ve been selling on Wayfair for a while.

What I’m working with

  • Products: tapestries, throw pillows, wall art – all home decor.

  • I have my own factory overseas, so cost is something I can control well.

  • I’m set up for print-on-demand, which is what I want to focus on with Wayfair.

My rough plan

  1. Research what’s selling well in home decor on Wayfair, then create my own versions – different designs on tapestries and pillows, size options, original wall art, that kind of thing.

  2. Get a few reviews to start. Maybe send out a small batch to testers – trying to figure out the cleanest way to do that on Wayfair.

  3. Turn on Wayfair ads for new listings to get some early traffic.

Where I’m stuck

I know Amazon and Temu work really differently from Wayfair. Would love input on a few things:

  • For POD home decor listings, what should I watch out for to stay within Wayfair’s rules?

  • What’s the best way to get those first few reviews without doing anything sketchy?

  • How do ads work for new home decor products on Wayfair? Especially keywords and how much to bid.

  • Any specific tips for tapestries, pillows, and wall art – like how to set up my catalog, logistics, or timing for peak seasons?

Appreciate any help. Even basic stuff or things to avoid would be super useful.

A bit more context

  • I have POD production set up in the US and Europe, so custom orders and fast turnaround aren’t an issue.

  • I know how POD works on Amazon and Temu, but Wayfair’s platform rules and traffic are still new to me.

Thanks in advance.
