Most of our products are patented exclusives. I wasn’t planning to touch Temu, but now I’m seeing competitors doing over 100k sales on their Temu stores and it’s tempting.
My main concern: if I list the same product on Temu at a lower price, will it affect my Amazon listing? Anyone dealt with this?

That said, if you list the exact same product at a much lower price on Temu, Amazon will eventually notice. Keep them differentiated – different ASINs, different packaging, different brand names – and you’ll probably be fine.
One thing people don’t mention: Temu will crawl Amazon for pricing. They’ll expect your Temu price to be 15% below your Amazon price. If you don’t meet that, they’ll throttle your Temu listing.
So you’re stuck in a weird middle ground: if you price too low on Temu, Amazon might hit you. If you price too high on Temu, Temu will throttle you.
If you’re going to do it:
This makes it harder for Amazon’s crawlers to match. It’s not guaranteed, but it helps.
Honestly? Amazon sales haven’t dropped. The Buy Box hasn’t been affected. But Temu’s price approval process is the real headache – they want 15% below Amazon. For patented products, you can push back with documentation and get a better price.
Our fix: take down the Temu listing, open a case with Amazon explaining we’ve adjusted pricing, and wait. It usually comes back, but it’s annoying.
I’ve noticed some big sellers in our category mark their Temu listings as “used” or “refurbished” to avoid being crawled by Amazon. Seems to work for them.
