I launched a new product 3 days ago. Full title search works, front end looks normal. But:
-
Auto and manual campaigns get zero impressions (tried restarting, bids from low to 4x suggested)
-
Business Report shows zero sessions (except my own clicks)
-
Category has good traffic. Node is correct. No adult flag.
-
Helium 10 shows ~200 "Amazon recommended" keywords, but zero ad or organic keywords for my ASIN. Competitors have ~300 recommended and ~1000 total keywords.
My manual campaign suggested keywords are mostly relevant (1-2 irrelevant). So Amazon seems to have identified my product to some degree.
Is the problem that I didn't put enough keywords in my listing? What else could cause this?
Any help appreciated.

What to do if still zero after 7 days,If after a full week you still have zero impressions and zero sessions:
One more thing: Helium 10's "Amazon recommended keywords" count is based on Amazon's indexing of your listing. If it's zero, your listing is not indexed. Focus on fixing that before spending more on ads.
Ad strategy for new products
The old advice "just increase bids" often fails now. Try this instead:
How to fix indexing issues**
Your manual campaign shows a few irrelevant suggested keywords – that means Amazon's system has partially recognized your listing, but not well enough.
Fix steps:
Use Amazon's "Listing Quality" dashboard – It will flag missing attributes that hurt indexing.
After changes, wait 48-72 hours. Amazon's index doesn't update instantly.
First, check these 4 things systematically**
Before blaming keywords, run through this checklist (updated for 2026):
If all four are fine, the problem is likely listing copy not being indexed – poor keyword placement or mismatched product type.
