I’m looking to aggregate reviews from my own brand’s independent site to Walmart. I’ve noticed processing times have become much longer recently—some sellers report waiting over two months with no update.
For those who’ve done this successfully:
How long is the review aggregation process taking these days?
If an application is rejected, does Walmart provide a clear reason?
Are there any proven ways to improve the success rate and speed up the process?
I’d appreciate any insights from your recent experience. Thanks!

I’ve aggregated reviews from my own brand site a few times, and here’s what’s helped with success rates.
First, using a standard platform like Shopify seems to work best—Walmart appears to prefer clean, well-structured sites that clearly show your brand.
On the review content itself:
One critical thing: Walmart is strict about not buying reviews or using third-party services to get “Verified Purchase” badges. The only allowable method is importing reviews you legitimately own from your own site or other platforms. Violating that can lead to permanent suspension.
Good luck—happy to answer any other questions.
Honestly, I’ve been through this process a few times now, so I get the frustration. The timeline has gotten way slower—4 to 8 weeks seems to be the norm these days. I haven’t seen any way to expedite it.
When they reject you, they do send an email with a general reason. From my experience, the most common ones are: reviews flagged as inauthentic or low quality, your source website not looking like a legit consumer-facing site, or they’ll reject if you already submitted a recent app for the same product. Just some things to watch out for.
